Relating Well for a Richer Life
THE SELF-CENTRIC RELATIONAL SYSTEM
Visualize Your Client's Relational World in one Picture

The Self-Centric Relational System (SCRS) is an intuitive, graphic assessment tool used from Intake through treatment by therapists, medical clinicians, and professional coaches to map relational networks from the client's perspective to drive measurement - based care.
BECAUSE RELATIONSHIPS DICTATE OUTCOMES
Social environments deeply influence mental health, symptom triggers, and coping mechanisms. In a public health crisis of epidemic loneliness, social disconnection has been identified as a key determinant of health.
Traditional narrative intake makes it incredibly difficult o track this data efficiently.
The integration of these insights into clinical practice shows potential for crafting more holistic and impactful interventions, ultimately playing a role in enhancing mental well-being across varied populations

Social disconnection has been identified as a key determinant of health Therapeutic approaches that actively involve and cultivate social support networks emerge as powerful tools in alleviating perceived stress. Mental health practitioners are encouraged to incorporate assessments of social support systems into their evaluations, identifying areas for enhancement and tailoring interventions accordingly.

MORE ABOUT THE SCRS
Make an initial assessment of the quality and health of your client's relational world. Accurate assessment is essential to Measurement Based Care. The SCRS graph provides an intuitive rendering of your client's relational world in one easy to grasp picture. The SCRS Interpretation Guide allows understanding of the graph in a few minutes and provides easy, guided initial self-analysis with exploratory questions.
Create periodic updates of your client's relational world in order to track treatment progress, modify treatment goals, create new goals, and illustrate markers of success. The series of SCRS graphs will reveal powerful evidence of relational change.
Develop treatment plans with the SCRS graph and report to address: improving the quality of relationships in the Intimate Relational Group and Inner Circle, targeting specific relationships of importance to your client's mental health and social/interpersonal adjustment, adding healthy activities and hobbies, and more.

Relationships have a major impact on mental health, but it is not easy to get an overall understanding of an individual's relational patterns that influence their well-being. As a psychotherapist, I find the SCRS to be an easy to use, interactive, and powerful therapeutic tool that helps an individual visualize and evaluate the impact of relationships (past and present) in their life.

The SCRS is an innovative online assessment tool designed to help both therapists and clients explore and evaluate their relational systems. Its structured approach allows for a clear assessment of a client's support network while also highlighting areas in need of growth and improvement. It is an effective resource for fostering awareness, promoting insight and supporting meaningful relational change. I highly recommend it.
